PCB Library

Using Available Resources

A good way to save some time and headache is to use pre-made library components that can be found from multiple different websites. I’ve included a list of EDA Library resources that I commonly use or refer to:

  1. SamacSys
  2. SnapEDA
  3. UltraLibrarian

Although the majority of the library parts found in the websites above are correct, the librarians are still prone to human error.

Always verify any pre-made footprint against the specific components datasheet.

There are tons of YouTube videos and tutorials already existing on the web that you can reference for creating and importing symbols into libraries.
